The Manama Dialogue would like to express its deepest concern and disapproval about the Syrian attack, and states that investigations are being made by the OPCW and by the UN in the country’s territory. Until now, the investigations pointed that the incident was caused by the Syrian government, however, since there are no conclusive answers yet, Mister Minister of Syria strongly denies any government participation and condemns the attack. In a US$ 5 billion project, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank approved the construction of 15 solar power plants in Middle East: 5 in Saudi Arabia, 2 in Jordan, 3 in Egypt, 3 in Oman and 2 in the United Arab Emirates.

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank had probably faced their most productive meeting untill now. Only in its last session, 4 different projects, sum in approximately US$ 6.5 billion, were approved. So far, the amount of capital invested in projects for the AIIB is around US$ 9.4 billion.
